The Art Gallery is an independent community art initiative

Bringing art to Biloela hospital. From waiting rooms to hospital wards, our surroundings can impact the way we think and feel. Art can transform cold,
clinical environments into welcoming space that encourage, enrich and empower everyone who uses them.

The Art project was developed by Central Queensland artist Katrina Elliott. With the great success of The Art Gallery Gladstone Hospital an Art Gallery is now being installed in the neighbouring town of Biloela.

The Art Gallery is situated in the corridor of the hospital near the main entry then leading up to the Community & Allied Health waiting room. This Project not only provides a great distraction to patience, carers and staff but it also gives great opportunities to Professional & Emerging artists.
